Baby Milestone Group Class for North Vancouver Families
Parent education and hands-on support for your baby's motor development, guided by a registered physiotherapist.
Our Baby Milestone Group Class is led by a registered physiotherapist and focuses on parent education around motor milestone development and progression, along with common pediatric concerns to keep an eye on.
The goal is to educate and empower parents to support their babies in reaching their full gross motor potential, while creating a safe and FUN space to connect with other North Shore families. Each class is built around a specific topic related to your baby's development, with exercises and activities that help progress their skills.
Before your baby joins a class, they'll need an assessment. You can choose a full-length assessment to talk through specific concerns, or a shorter 30-minute assessment that's more of a check-in. Classes run over a series of sessions to make the most of the education and milestone work. While these are physiotherapy classes, we can't guarantee your insurance will cover them, so we recommend checking with your provider before booking.

These classes suit a wide range of babies. Current clients nearing the end of their treatment plan, families who came in for a motor milestone assessment but didn't need follow-ups, and families curious about physio without a specific concern are all great fits.
Yes, but there's flexibility on length. If you'd prefer a 30-minute assessment rather than a full-length one, we can make that happen.
Group classes may be covered under extended health benefit plans. We recommend contacting your insurer to confirm.
We're on the 3rd floor of the Millennium Lonsdale building at 131 13th St E, close to Lions Gate Hospital. Enter through the Millennium Building Offices entrance, take the elevators to the 3rd floor, turn right, and follow the signs for Pacific Orthopedics. You'll find us just around the corner.
Paid underground parking is accessed from the alley between 13th St E and 12th St E (look for the pink sign). The P1 stalls near the Offices Elevators are closest to us, and wheelchair-accessible stalls are on P2 right beside the elevator entrance. Register your licence plate at the machine on P1 before heading up. Free 1–2 hour street parking is also available along 13th St E and nearby streets.
